Fur

Here we have another point in which the movies were not strictly true to the book. Although, to Peter Jackson and crew's credit, I notice that the dwarves' fur coats did quietly disappear around the time they were introduced to Beorn and did not reappear until they were mounting their ponies. No doubt they stashed them somewhere out of respect to their host's sensibilities.
